You will need to place the adventure map in the saves file. The easiest way to get to the saves file is to open up minecraft and go to the texture packs. Then click view texture pack folder. When you are in the texture packs file, just go back a couple of files in your .minecraft and there will be a folder called saves. BOOM you're done! :)
