you could make a minnow catcher by getting like a 2L pop bottle or a 1L pop bottle. Make sure it is empty. at the top of the pop bottle there is a funnel like shape. You cut that off first. When your done that you put the the tip of the funnel piece into the bigger piece of the pop bottle then you tape it. Then you need a string or something to hold it whiles its in the watter. Then your done. Put some bait in there to get the minnows to go into it. They are dumb cause they cant find the way out of it.
