There is no way we can claim that plastic is better than metal. We can't say that it is worse either. The point is that without knowing how to compare, we can not claim one or the other. Properties of most types of plastic. 1 Low density. 2 Light weight. 3 Easy to form. 4 Cheap But these properties makes plastic better only if this is what we are after. Plastic is not generally as strong as metal. Plastic is not as durable as metal... although it depends on its use. By combining metal with plastic, we get strength and durability. Just think of a car with paint versus a car without paint.
