First gather LOTS of real dry wood.A good idea is to look around building sites as building sites will have lots of pallets and wood that they would gladly give to you.
Also if people are cleaning out there houses ask them if theyre throwing out and bed frames or mattresses because they are very good for a bonfire!
When you have gathered enough wood thet will burn for about a good 4 or 5 hours make sure you have a very long piece of wood. This will be your centre pole.
If you have a mattress or bed frame but that flat on the ground first as that will light up the bonfire very well. When you have that done get your centre pole and stick its vertically. You might want to cut a small hole in the mattress before you start buliding the bonfire or you can just hold for a few minutes so you start building. When you have the centre pole standing up place lots of old newspapers and cardboard etc. in the middle and then place big pieces of wood against the centre pole in a piramid shape.
If you are going to be a complete IDIOT and light it with petrol i advise you to put it on carefully and make sure there is no petrol on the ground which you can stand on lol.
A more safer way and you wont get in as much trouble with your parents would be to light it with some firelighters that you use for fireplaces or BBQs or the most favourite way for kids is to get lots of cans of doedrant and a lighter and spray the deodrant on the flame and then spray the newspapers with fire and light the firelighters.
Hope it helped but be safe and don't ruin your life by jumping over it !
Safety first!
