That can not be done even developers design a new game and do not just change one to the other. Games are designed for the console they are and are not changed or made compatible. Some early 4 USB port PS3 are backward compatible and the 2 USB port PS3 can not be made backward compatible.
Developers need to improve on this it's not fair to the ones who own the PS3 they have to buy new games to play this was not mentioned to the public and some have gotten rid of their consoles to make room for the updated version update does not mean stop one to start another it means keep one and improve on others
Yes it is fair the PS3 games are better than the PS2 games. The new system came out in 2006 because the technology allowed better games to be developed and they continue to improve since then. The PS4 will not work with PS2 or PS3 games and that is also fair. If you want to play PS2 games play them on a PS2 and if you want to Play PS3 games play them on a PS3. Games are software or programs designed for a console they do not work on a PC Xbox 360 or some other console. When games are developed for all the major systems they design a set of software for each console or system. For years the PCSX2 emulation program has been trying to allow a PC to play PS2 games, yet it is never going to play like a PS2 does and will always require tweaking to get a game title to even be played. Each PS2 game title is unique and so is each version of the game. It takes the game developer to rewrite the game to make it actually playable on a different system. So yes some game developers will change a PS2 game and make it work for the PS3 and that game can not and will not work in a PS2 any longer. So it will do you no good to have a PS2 copy of the game unless you want to play it in a PS2. Sure the old 60 GB USA PS3 had the PS2 game hardware and tried to be able to play PS2 titles and could play many of the titles released at that time. It could not play all the PS2 titles and once the region codes and other problems started to surface they tried to release a partially software PS2 emulation that also did not work will many PS2 game titles. They discontinued effects to make a backward compatible console because there would always be unplayable games and the game developers PS2 products were not licensed to have to work in a PS3.
Only a PS3 that was designed to play some PS2 titles with 4 USB ports can ever play PS2 games according to Sony. They say nothing you can do to the hardware or software will ever allow a PS3 that does not play PS2 games to play them
u have to have de 60 or 80 gb
No you need a PS3 with 4 USB ports, some 80 GB PS3s have 2 Ports and do not play the PS2 games.
There is nothing you can do to make a PS2 play a PS3 game. The PS2 does not have the technical capabilities to play a PS3 game
no you can not play a ps2 game on a ps3 the hardware is not the same
You don't get a PS3 to Play PS2 games. Some of the early ones made before August 2008 with 4 USB ports could play some titles. Nothing you can do will make a PS3 play PS2 games if it was not part of the original features
No PS3 games were developed with the PS3 system's capabilities considered. PS2 games were not developed for the PS3 and play like on a PS2 because to play the game on a PS3 the console must act like a PS2.
go on ps3 store and you will see add ons browse untill you find ps2 sytem update dosent get better than tat :)
No they discs are they same size, but they are Blu-Ray discs and can not be read by the PS2.
No you can not. You can not make a PS3 play a PS2 game if it was not already backward compatibly
You don't you can not make a PS3 play PS2 games by downloading software Software is designed to make hardware work and the PS3 does not have PS2 hardware it has PS3 hardware and the PS2 software will not work on the PS3
A PS3 that does not play PS2 games can not be made to play them. No updates, software or hardware changes will allow them to play PS2 games.
No you can not play the PS2 games on the new PS3 and you can not play the PS3 games on the PS2
No you can't but you can play PS2 on PS3.
You can not make a PS3 that does not play PS2 games into one that does play PS2 games.
