Hover over the "my gaia" tab and click on "house." To decorate your house, you have to buy some furniture and go to your inventory. Then click the "organize inventory" button above your inventory on the right side of your screen. Click on the House image on the right side. Drag your furniture into the house column on the right side and click save. Then click the orange button that says "design my home." The rest is pretty straightforward.
