You could try and hook up a bicycle workout machine to a battery so when you work out in the morning, you charge the battery. Then put the battery in an electric car.
Self-powered vehicle? What? A car is an archetypal self-powered vehicle, with the caveat that it is in fact powered by the combustion of fuel. One could make a wooden car powered by a petrol engine supplied by a gas converter fuelled by wood, and then chop the car to pieces and burn it as you were driving along. The problem here would be that whoever was waving the axe would not be wearing a seat belt. NAUGHTY. It would be a self-powered vehicle, though, at least till such time as there was not enough car left to be driveable.
to make a wind powered car you make a wind powered car
Cars are not self powered now a days. They require the fill up or gas. A self powered car would need to create the power itself.
What was the first self-powered road vehicles? Self powered can mean many things. A horse and chariot is a "self powered vehicle" for example. Over 2,000 years ago. If self powered means it "generates it's own power", a sailboat qualifies. Probably over 1,000 years ago. Later vehicles that generate their own power include: First electric self powered car, about 1970 when photovoltaic panels were introduced. First electric self powered boats, about 1980. First electric self powered airplane, 2007. For a growing list of self powered electric vehicles, see http://www.selfpoweredelectricvehicles.com/
