That much solar panel space will require enough maintenance o it's own and you would be much further ahead to buy off the self units. They tend to fair better in weather and can last over ten years in most areas.

I have a wind/ solar arrangement that will payback in under 100 years, unless the system has troubles. There is no actual savings here, or true green. The fuel used to build these panels is never saved over their life. I was very disappointed when I installed mine. I get about 120 watts a day from each 75 watt panel due to the weird way that panels are rated. I honestly wish someone had told me this before I dove in. Ebay has many panels and many similar stories.
