From what I can make of it, the Gimp Turtorials do no download with the GIMP program, but instead they prompt you to visit the website. In this tutorial it will teach you how to use the product.
Jack Haley plays the Tinman in the Wizard of Oz.
To create a butterfly effect in GIMP, start by opening your image and duplicating the layer. Use the "Filter" menu, select "Distorts," and then choose "Whirl and Pinch" to create a swirling effect. Adjust the settings to your liking, and apply a mask to refine the effect by painting with black or white on the mask to hide or reveal areas. Finally, you can enhance colors and contrast to make the butterfly effect stand out.
Unfortunately you can't but if your planning to make a lightsaber video then you should try LSmaker which is pretty difficult and if a picture you can make it easily on photoshop or gimp
You find out!
First you go to Gimp. You go to file and you press New. Yout make the size how ever you like. Then, you can put a picture on Gimp and use the text bow to type.
It's an extrememly difficult process if you want to make it from scratch. It'd be easiest just to Open a picture in GIMP

To use ABR files in GIMP, you need to convert them into GIMP-compatible format. You can do this by opening GIMP and going to the "Brushes" panel. Then, copy the ABR files into the GIMP brushes directory, typically found in your GIMP installation folder under share/gimp/2.0/brushes. After placing the files there, restart GIMP, and the brushes should appear in the Brushes dialog.
