Wiggle it!
To make a tooth "wigglyer" or loosen a tooth, you can gently wiggle it with your fingers or tongue. Avoid forcefully pulling or twisting the tooth, as it could cause pain or damage. It is important to let your loose tooth naturally fall out on its own when it is ready.
Without pain: if you want to pull out a loose tooth with no pain, this is what you do. Wiggle your tooth back and forth and up and down. If it doesn't come out then, take a Kleenex and put the Kleenex over your tooth. Pinch your tooth really hard and pull it out. It wont hurt. With pain: if you want to pull a loose tooth out with pain (if you don't really mind), this is what you do. Wiggle your tooth for about 10 minutes. Take some pliers and pinch the tooth. Normally pulling it quick is better then pulling it slowly, from my own experience I would wait till its ready. When it is ready, tie a string around your tooth, then tie the other string to the door; then close the door! Quick and painless!

No. Forcing it out will only make things worse. Tell the kid it will not hurt at all if the tooth comes out. Try the string technique or visit the dentist.
It depends on why it is loose. If it has just been bumped too hard, or will likely tighten back up on its own in a few days. If the roots are broken or there is gum disease, it will probably take other means. It may even require being removed and replaced. There is no way of really knowing without going to the dentist and getting it checked out.
they make it loose so that when your pulling up a fish the end doesn't snap or break : :o that would suck
It depends on a number of factors. Was the baby tooth loose at the time? If so, the permanent tooth should begin erupting into the mouth within just a few days or weeks. If the baby tooth was not loose, it could take several months, depending on the state of development of the permanent tooth. After taking an x-ray of the area, a dentist could make a fairly accurate prediction of how long the permanent tooth will take to grow in. If the baby tooth was lost prematurely, a space maintainer might need to be placed to prevent future orthodontic or occlusion problems. Check with a dentist.
