A loch is a mainly Scottish-used word which basically means a lake or reservoir, e.g. Loch Ness. An example of it in a sentence is... "Let's all go fishing in the Loch, there are loads of fish down there!"

The man who reported it had a toy submarine and put a fake neck on it. The name originated from where it was supposeively first sawn, in the lake Loch Ness. This is in my own words.
