If you have facial hair, you could try leaving one side of your face unshaved, while you shave the other side, for a period of time - possibly every day for a couple of weeks. You could then compare the thickness of the hair that is growing on both sides of your face. Even if you do not have facial hair, you can do this experiment on some other body part, such as an arm or leg. Most people have hair growing somewhere.

The experiment would work best if it is performed by a person who has never shaved before. If you have already been shaving, perhaps you have already caused whatever effect shaving can potentially cause. But again, if the face is not suitable, perhaps you could try the same thing with an arm.

If you can get more than one person to do this, you would of course obtain more statistically meaningful results.

If you shave your head will the hair grow back thicker?

Shaving one's head will not result in thicker hair growth. Ultimately, the hair that grows back will be the same hair type as the kind that was shaved off, provided the original hair was not chemically damaged or over processed.

Do hair grow back?

Depends. After shaving it it does at a faster rate each time and when it comes back it is thicker and fuller. After waxing it it does a month later thicker and fuller. Laser hair removal I'm told comes back much later. Burned portions of the body might grow hair depending on how severe the burn.

How many ways are there to shave your mustache for girls?

The same number of ways for boys. Shaving, however, is not a good idea. Waxing or laser removal are better options since shaving will leave small stubble and eventually grow back thicker than before.

If you shave your legs everyday will more hair grow?

shaving or cutting hair does not change the rate at which it grows. Some people also believe that it causes hair to gro back thicker

Does shaving help facial hair grow thicker?

Waxing actually makes the hair grow back thinner since it's being pulled up by the hair's root. It can appear thicker and darker because all the hair is growing back at the same time. When you shave, hair comes in at different times, making it appear lighter and more sparse.

I THOUGHT I had a happy trailI started shaving it a couple yrs agoit has come back darker and Im so embarrassed about it Could i do to make it come back regular or make it just stop in all?

Shaving will cause hair to come in thicker and sometimes darker. You can either wax or use bleach to lighten your happy trail.
