For the game:
1. You start with one finger on each hand.
2. Then, you tap the other persons finger with one of yours. They now have 2 on that hand.
3. Then they hit you with either their hand of one or two.
4. You keep doing that back and forth till someone has 5 on one hand. Then that hand is out.
5. If you get say 3 on one finger and someone taps you with 4 you would now have 2 on that hand.
6. If you have four or two on 1 hand and your other hand is out you can bump to half on each, but only on even numbers.
7. Keep doing that until someone has both hands out.
Eating with chopsticks is one of those feats that I have not mastered yet. Using your middle finger and thumb you can pick up the first chopstick. Now you are ready to pick up the second chopstick with your index finger and adjust it to make it comfortable for yourself. Have the tips of the two chopsticks even at the end and practice picking up your food.
There's also another way to use chopsticks. Firstly, take one chopstick and hold it like a pencil, with your thumb, index finger, and middle finger. Next, slide the other chopstick into the gap between your thumb and index finger and let it sit there. To support this chopstick you could use your ring finger and pinky. Now you're ready!
Hint: You're really only supposed to be using the chopstick that you first picked up, the one that is held like a pencil.
Good Luck!
It takes practice to use chopsticks. And a short video is probably a better way to pick up the information than reading about it. Use peanuts, dried beans or even tiny marshmallows to practice. (Watch out that you don't end up eating a bag of tiny marshmallows in the process!)
