Starcraft 1 is not very hard on computers. Pretty much any cheap computer today will play it. Starcraft 2 is a different story...

The biggest starcraft playing country in the world is South Korea. They had many champions in competitions, but the most famous guy and known to be have been the best in starcraft played with 'Terran'
If Blizzard did make world of Starcraft there would hardly be a difference between World Of Warcraft and World Of Starcraft since Starcraft and Warcraft are very similar games. so there is really no point of making it.
There are many places where one can watch gameplay videos of StarCraft II. One can watch gameplay videos of StarCraft II at popular on the web sources such as YouTube, Team Liquid, and Game Replays.
yes they are the 2nd leads on from the first one but if they make a 3rd one then no the story wont be the same
StarCraft happened in 1998.
If you have Brood War than you can go to single player then do melee or go to multiplayer and do top versus bottom and add computers. If you have starcraft2 then you can do versus AI on single player (beta doesn't have single player) or you can go to multiplayer and play with someone against an AI. Hope this helps! :)
I like trains
Starcraft II can be played offline.
