How do you copy and paste on a MacBook Air?

There are several keystrokes for common tasks.

Select the text you want to use.

The following keystrokes will now work:

Copy = Comnd c (at that point you can paste. Comnd v) You can paste as many times as you want.

Delete = Comnd x or Delete or delete->

Bold = Comnd b

Underline = Comnd u

Italics = Comnd i

If you do something and don't like it, you can try doing the command again, or pressing Comnd z to undo.

The MacBook Air uses Mac OS X and its cut and paste commands can be found in an application's Edit menu. The keyboard shortcut to copy a selected item is Command and C keys, and to paste is Command and V. There is also an option to select Copy or Paste from the Context menu available with a secondary click on the trackpad.

The Track Pad is used to move the cursor and make selections. There are many key presses that will work once a selection is made, depending on the open application.

On the Track Pad, move the cursor to where you want to start the selection.

Press the left corner of the pad down and hold it. Drag the cursor across what you want to select. If you press the control key you will get a drop down menu with 'Copy' and other possible actions included.

In the Edit menu at the top of the screen while inany application that allows editing it should be listed.

For a shortcut just Right Click (Option click) on what you want and a drop down menu will appear with a similar menu, simply highlight the sentence or word you want to edit and then right click on the highlighted word to get the options.
