You can do a number of things! Wash your hair every 2 or 3 days (depending on how greasy your hair can get) with shampoo and conditioner suitable for your hair type. I would recommend John Frieda or Pantene.
After washing your hair, DO NOT towel dry but you may press your hair down with your towel to dry it a little. Comb your hair with a plastic comb, NOT a brush, and leave your hair to dry naturally.
If you then wish to style it, use an Anti-Damage spray such as TRESemme's heat protector spray. If you're using a flat iron (hair straightener), divide your hair into horizontal sections, beginning at the hair at the bottom of your head.
DO NOT put your straightener further than 200 degrees!
Once you've straightened your hair, use a bristle brush to gently smooth your hair down (without causing it to frizz of course) and finish off with hair serum! Again, John Frieda's Hair Serum is a good product for this. (Just remember not to put too much serum or your hair will get greasy!)
Good luck and hope I helped!

I dont know about the shampoo, but if you can get your hands on the conditioner that comes with hair dye kits I would try it. It makes your hair very soft and silky.
Conditioner That is true, however there is a more natural way to make your hair soft. It may sound really gross, but raw eggs will make your hair soft and silky. Eggs are full of protein, which our hair craves naturally. Beat about two eggs in a bowl and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes, making sure it fully saturates your hair. It will also make your hair very shiny and healthy looking. For longer hair, you may need more eggs.

Yes, But it is depend on your hair
Yes you can. I have a Conair straightener at home and curling my hair with it works. Especially because my hair is light, soft and silky :)
Well my hair is naturally straight and this shampoo makes my hair shiny and smooth but just not silky.
