She should do it naturally. If she doesn't then rip sack yourself, with clean and sterile hands, and she should start taking care of it after you rip it open, bring the newborn pup to her face and her maternal instincts should kick in. Good luck to you! :-)
No it is not normal for chihuahua to eat its puppies at birth
No. Just the sack.
Well you could do that here is the better way she will most likely no what to do by instinct but if she is too scared or confused she doesn't know what is going on then that is where you come in you have to make her clean them and make her eat the sack if not the puppies will die. After that if she wont feed them then DO NOT BUY BOTTLES AND PUUPY MILK because my dog had her puppies and she was lost and confused so we bought bottles and puppy milk but here is the thing with bottles and puppy milk you have to feed them a perfict amount or they will die so unless you want them to die you need to force her to feed the puppies
If the some of the puppies are stillborn, the mother may eat any them. If there are no stillborns, nothing will eat the puppies. ~
There are a couple of reasons why:1. They're cannibals.2. They may not of recognized their child's scent (another way to deal with this is by abondoning them).
No, He does not eat puppies, just the souls and minds of children.
Yes, it can happen but very rarely- it is a case when a mother is hungry and confused after giving birth, but it is very uncommon.
sad question, but no. Thankfuly, they dont eat their puppies. :)
because they were hungry?
they do not eat their puppies, but they can roll on them in their sleep and kill them. a way to stop this is to get a sleeping pen/bed that has a ledge around the edge of it. make sure there is enough room for the puppies to get under it. the puppies will automatically sleep under it and the mum can't roll on to them. ! xx
