obviously you need clear nail polish because if you have coloured nail polish then you would have nail polish there already so you nedd it to be clear nail polish. and then you get eye shadow and place it into the clear nil polish but make sure you put a little bit and then mix it and then keep repeating because you do not want it lumpy and then place it on your nails it would look stupid remember you can get a colour of you r choice but you need to make sure that you dont make a mess because i tried it and i got it all over my hands and all over the table but it worked but it can only be eye shadow make sure you get the eye shadow but the powder one because if you get a rock hard one then you will sure get lumps anyways hoped it helped :)

Put your nail polish in your fridge and keep it there for a week or two and see if it turn's no goowy !!
