Hot air balloons are made of lightweight manmade fabric cut from a pattern and sewn together on a sewing machine. A basket is suspended below it with a burner that heats the air on the inside. the basket is woven from rattan cane so that it will be as light as possible. Propane fuel is kept in containers in the basket to fuel the burner. It's pretty simple but a lot of work.
put hot air in it ;p hahhahaha
Hot air is lighter than the surrounding air as it is less dense (molecules move apart.) Therefore, it always wants to rise (as it does in your home, making higher floors hotter than lower floors.) When you trap hot air in an air-tight space as with a hot air balloon, it wants to rise, taking the balloon with it.
So a hot air balloon does not need to be made to fly. It needs to be tethered to the ground to keep it from flying.
Maybe you can use a blow dryer and a paper bag.
you take 7 pieces of tissue paper and make it in a leaf shape glue them together then put a hairdryer under it and it will fly :) ur welcome!!
To produce the 'hot air' that goes inside the balloon to make it fly.
The hot air inside the balloon expands, making the hot air balloon fly.
Hot air balloons use the fact that hot air rises as a way to make balloons fly. When the air inside the balloon is heated, it rises, and this creates lift which is used to make the balloon fly.
It gets super hot in the hot air balloon because of the fire above to make it fly
Hot air! Hot air is lighter than cold air.
The hot air inside the balloon expands, making the hot air balloon fly.
How to get the air into the balloon and how to make it fly.
i think it takes a long time for a hot air balloon to fly
An aeronaut flies a hot air balloon
Hot air balloons can pick up and fly from just about anywhere. As long as the surface is flat a hot air balloon can fly from it.
Yes they were first to fly the first hot air balloon
A hot air balloon flies because it is filled with hot air. Hot air rises and causes the balloon to lift from the ground.
