How do you never lose items in Minecraft?

You cannot unless you have Too Many Items mod! Download it from minecraft Forums. You must have 1.8 for this to work now! Also, hit the question mark btton on your keyboard, and type this exactly as it is: gamemode 1

BEWARE if you type in gamemode 2, you will be stuck in that forever. It is really hard.

Press 'Q' if its in your hotbar. Go into your inventory 'E' and pick it up and click outside the box. It should then drop on the floor for someone to pick up if they wish.

Unless you use a plugin where you have god mode, then you can't have "infinite health." However, if you set the difficulty to peaceful, your health regenerates.
