Basically, you photoshop the effects and sounds if you are making a video or something like that.
Yes, Hasbro has produced a Darth Maul FX lightsaber as part of their Star Wars Force FX lightsaber line. It features realistic lights and sound effects from the Star Wars movies.
You can't. In the movies, it's just special effects that make it cut through stuff.
You need the lightsaber video effect.
No, but you can follow a tutorial on YouTube of how to make a customized hilt for a costume. It's called how to make a lightsaber by the makers of backyard FX
No they are not real they are just animated with effects.
No. While we can make jets of plasma, they are nowhere near as controlled as the blade of a lightsaber.
You could make a lightsaber, but it we'll probably take many years or it couldn't even happen.
A compressed lightsaber has a regular 'pulse' to it. If you look at it you can see the pulsing energy that flows through it. A regular lightsaber is a standard beam of light without any actual effects on it. An unstable lightsaber doesn't really have that defined shape and the energy looks as though it's pouring out of the lightsaber. If you really look at each lightsaber effect you can see why they are really named as they are.
I know that there are "make your own lightsaber" kits in toy stores like Toys R Us and Target.
you have to upgrade your account to membership, and then go to the lightsaber customization station... ( not that I've tried it. )
Yes 1 man has, a special effects man named Marvin Hoffman did a few years ago, but in the use of the lightsaber an extra was killed and The president denied it's existance and the lightsaber disappeared along with Marvin.
