Nappy is a harsh term. But it is very beatiful, diverse and fun. There are many ways to define your texture to make it curly. Curlformers, blow dry, rods, two strand twist out, braid out, bantu knot out. Tips: use a heat protector, try miss jessies curly pudding or any other holding product, use a head blow dryer over a hand one (this will prevent over drying and heat damage) or use no heat at all, many of these styles can be left over night and taken out in the morning. For further tips look these styles up and YouTube videos of them. Have fun and enjoy your beatiful curls! :)
I know 3 sisters whose hair changed to extremely curly when they entered adolescence. In one case it became actually nappy. Is this common?
Take a shower or go to a beauty salon and have them help you.
you have to wash it and condition and take some dime curlers and curls your hair and make sure that your hair is still wet wait two days before taking them out then once you see them make sure you want your hair like that then comb them out so is will make tiny curls
Sure it can, hormones can make your body do some crazy things when they are out of balance. It is very normal to see differences in hair and skin while going through menopause.

You can always straighten curly hair if it is naturally curly. If it is permed to be curly, then ask your hairdresser what to do if you want to make it straight.
Nappy hair is not good. Nappy hair is hair that is very tangled and messy and is not very attractive. To avoid nappy hair, one should brush hair often and avoid situations which would cause this nappy hair. But it's all a matter of opinion really. It would depend on what you mean by "nappy". Some consider tightly coiled hair to be nappy hair and there is nothing wrong or bad with this hair trait as long as it it taken care of and managed like all hair types should be.
