You need a light but powerful dc motor, a propeller, and a few button batteries (or other kinds like AA or 9v, but those are usually heavier than what you need in button batteries). Rig them together so the button batteries are lined up parallel to each other and attach them and the prop to the motor. Diagram-

This question is very ambiguous since it depends on the model, make and type of helicopter. For instance, it depends on whether you're asking about a small, private helicopter with a bubble canopy up front, or a big military Chinook helicopter.

Tie a helicopter to it. Or attach a handglider and a small bomb. Or put it in a cannon.
There is a great website on Google if you type in 'Make Playing Helicopter':)
Helicopters generate lift and thrust through the rotation of its main rotor blades. By changing the pitch of the blades, the helicopter can control its altitude, direction, and speed. Additionally, the tail rotor is used to counteract the torque created by the main rotor to keep the helicopter stable.
You should take a look at the Cobra 3 Channel Remote Control Gyroshark RC Helicopter and the 3 Channel Apache RC Helicopter. These are great RC helicopters to start with.
Depends on the purpose and make of the helicopter.
I don't really know what you mean. I'm sure that if you be creative, you can make a helicopter out of anything.
Leonardo da Vinci did not actually 'make' a helicopter, he just drew his concept of it.
