How do you make stock?

To make stock you boil whatever is the subject of the stock.

For example, to make fish stock, you place fish bones into a large saucepan and cover with boiling water, and boil for a few hours. You can also add vegetables, herbs or spices to add to the flavour. After a few hours drain away the bones and solids, and you are left with stock. This can be stored in your fridge or frozen until you wish to use it.

You knit them with four needles. The cast on is at the top of the stocking, and is a continuous knit for the length of the stocking, casting on and off additional stitches for the shaping of the heel and the toe. Antique pattern books are the best places for such patterns.
