How do you make straight hair into afro hair?

You can't get afro hair if you have straight hair. Vice versa, afro hair into straight hair. Black girls with afro hair can straighten their hair, get a weave or wear braids. You could wear a wig but you can't have natural afro hair unless you are half or fully black.

I'm sorry, but you can't. African hair is a genetic thing, not a treatment thing. If your hair is very tight, you will have to perm it..which of course leads to damage. Condition with a light oil, not a heavy grease and avoid as much damage as possible. Caucasian hair has it's own problems, but the look can be achieved with styling tips. If your hair is not too tight, a light ironing will produce the desired effect. The key to growing a long head of hair is "condition, condition, condition"!!! You use a brush and brush out the curls to all side of your head...if it's wet blow dry first then brush. This should work.
