Look better =0 In my opinion and has a simpiler interface that only keeps essentials (unlike IE which has multiple tool bars, Firefox only has tabs, addressbar and favorites 3. Free add ons =0 Unlike IE it has free add ons 4. Loads things more smoothly - On my computer, it always glitches up when I load up yahoo in IE but on firefox it loads more smoothly and doesnt have the annoying click click sound lol Disadvantages (These are from http://www.wisegeek.org/what-are-the-pros-and-cons-of-firefox.htm) 1. Compatibility issues. The main disadvantage of Firefox is compatibility. Some websites do not show properly in Firefox, and require you to view them with IE. This includes pages with ActiveX and VBScript, both of which are not supported by Firefox. 2. Memory. Firefox takes a lot of memory to run. Firefox tends to freeze and close when too many tabs are open simultaneously, which is why Firefox invested heavily in creating the recovery memory feature. 3. Interrupted service. Another disadvantage of Firefox is that downloads cannot be resumed if interrupted. Firefox was actually designed for people using high-speed Internet, which means dial-up users can run into many problems along the way.

Thus the memory usage of Firefox can range anywhere from 100,000 kB to 1,000,000 kB. Although the average is somewhere in between with the average memory usage around 250,000 with a few non-intensive tabs open.
