Buttons (and keys on the keyboard) will lose their shine with normal wear and tear. They can be cleaned with a damp (not wet) soft cloth, or special cleaning kits can be purchased, but will rarely be returned to their as new shine.
It means that her lipgloss has lost its shine, like she needs to apply more to get that glossy look again as the glossy look has gone. That doesnt really make sense :S Sorry! It really means "By the way your lip gloss so like doesn't have any more shine to it" as you can see if a girl's lip doesn't have any gloss they will look all white and crusty.

Ceramic tile is glazed. Being so, it is not something that can be made to look glossy because it is non porous. In theory you could wax it, but it would be messy, hard to maintain and very slippery.

Say good bye to that glossy look with a spray can. Some folks use clear, matte finish paint. You can see right through it to the color of the original finish, but the matte finish breaks up the "smoothness" and kicks that glossy look to the curb. Just about any hardware store will have it, and so will the big box outfits.

First of all, start off with polished stones. They will be more apt to look glossy regardless of weather conditions and circumstances. There are coatings you can use to make stones appear glossy, but they're not practical for landscaping pebbles and tend to lend themselves better to paving stones. Silicone spray could work, but it is temporary and needs to be applied occasionally. Polyurethane exterior coating is another option but, again, it isn't practical. Your best bet would be to get a mister, which hooks up to a garden faucet. Arrange it among the stones (it can be used with plants as well). The mister will shoot a fine spray of mist over the pebbles and keep them looking glossy.
