i had the same problem last month and i had find out that it was because the brake oil was running low.
your switch that tells the car that the brake is off is defective
Beneath the handbrake level there would be a small electric/electronic switch which must have got damaged so get it replaced from your mechanic. There's one more serious concern sometimes when the main brakes malfunction the same indicator glows so better get your vehicle's entire braking system thoroughly checked.
Well the light switch on the wall will make and break the electrical connection, making the light go on and off.
advtrac light will not go off
If you do not repair the problem that caused the light to come on then it will never go off. If you repair the problem then remove the negative battery cable for 10 minutes and the light may go off. If it comes back on you did not repair the problem. If the light does not reset then the light will have to be reset with a OBD2 scan tool.
Your handbrake will be adjusted when you have your rear brakes adjusted by a mechanic. You can go to any brake shop and have them clean and adjust your brakes and this will fix the handbrake by doing so.
Why would battery light come on then go off
The fridge light should turn off when you close the door. The light is hot because not all the electricity is turned into light - an awful lot is wasted in the form of heat.
Be sure that the dash light brightness control switch is not turned off.
add washer fluid to the reservoir in the engine compartment
There is a fuse and when that fuse shorts out the light willl go on and off. There is a fuse and when that fuse shorts out the light willl go on and off.
If you are moving and need to stop suddenly then turn off the engine and shift down through the gears and use the handbrake. It worked for me. If you do not have to stop suddenly take your foot off the accelerator and slowly decrease speed and go down through the gear box, use the handbrake slowly when your speed had slowed down enough.
