Make sure your pasta sauce is thick and the pasta is well drained.

A good restaurant trick is to put several ladles of sauce into a large skillet and add just enough pasta for two people at a time. Heat sauce and pasta together shaking pan well to thoroughly coat the pasta.

If your sauce isn't sticking to your pasta, it may not have enough of main substance to it. You may be using too much oil or water in your sauce. I am not sure what kind of sauce you are trying to make or use. Make sure you completely drain your pasta in a pasta strainer before adding your sauce. A good recipe for Alfredo sauce is to use a quart of heavy cream, 1/3 stick of butter, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, and 1 1/2 - 1/3/4 cups of fresh Parmesan cheese. Saute your garlic in the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Then add your heavy cream and cheese. Stir constantly until your sauce thickens.
