Ok, in sims 2 (even with expansion packs) you speed up time by going to extreme time mode. There should be a couple of arrows at the bottom of the screen, below the sims time span. Click the one with three arrows. Time will go three tims faster, but you have to take care of their needs three times more. happy Simming!
