Eglantine is a flower - a type of wild rose - not usually thought of as a food. I have seen rose petals crystallised, then used to decorate cakes. I don't know if that counts as food. Rose petals can be steeped in water to produce rose-water. This is an important flavouring for Turkish Delight, and also for the Indian dish Gulab Jamon.
If you are talking about Rose Thorne, then she is the owner of the flower shop at Hotton, Desert Isle.(:

The White Witch gave Edmund a rose flavored candy called Turkish Delight. She enchanted it to make him crave more, to help ensure that he returned to her in Narnia. It really symbolizes sin because the witch equals the Devil, and the treat was so good and tempting. Because he wanted it so much it caused him to betray his siblings and make foolish decisions. And in the end it turned out to be false happiness, because when he asked for more, the witch imprisoned him and gave him no more treat.
= Products = Turkish Delight is probably one of the oldest confectionery known to man. In Biblical times called Rahat Lacoum (perfumed sweetness), it became popular in the Arab World as the sweet of hospitality and from the 1830's the first commercial imports of Locoum were brought from Turkey - hence the name Turkish' Delight. Our founder, Frederik J. Ling, served in the middle East during World War One. When he returned to the UK he perfected a recipe which won a Gold Medal for "excellence in the manufacture of Turkish Delight". We have never changed this recipe - being sure to use only the finest natural ingredients (the Rose flavour, genuine Bulgarian Otto of Rose, is the most expensive Rose essence on the market). The soft silky texture of our product puts Lings ahead of our competitors, not only because the consistency is so pleasant, but also because it allows the elderly to enjoy our confection. A unique combination which has proved successful with the British public for over 75 years... = Products = Turkish Delight is probably one of the oldest confectionery known to man.
