If they already don't get along then there is nothing you can do but if you haven't introduced them yet then introduce them in neutral territory (like a hallway as the guinea pigs haven't probably been there before and neither can claim it's theirs.). Just make sure one of your piggies hasn't already been there if you want to introduce them.
I think. I have two female guinea pigs and they get along fine.
Yes they do, I have two females and most of my friends have two female guinea pigs. I think they like living together.
Guinea pigs are herbivores, so they will not eat other guinea pigs. However, they can sometimes get into fights when they are first introduced. Make sure that you supervise them carefully. If your looking for how to introduce two new guinea pigs,
yes very well! i have kept guinea pigs with bunnies, goats, cats, and dogs and they all get along very well. my boyfriend's dog plays with his pet guinea and they play tag and hide and seek all over the living room.
I myself own two girl guinea pigs. But i dont understand why they get along so well. I belive that it my just be that girls have no competition, because the competition is left to the boy guinea pigs. So, therefore, that is why girl guinea pigs get along better than boy guinea pigs.
It depends on the age of the guinea pigs. There shouldn't be any trouble between the two guinea pigs if they're under three months old and if they're introduced properly. It's also best if the two guinea pigs are watched closely for a little while until it is evident that they both get along with each other.
get 2 female they get along well but get them about the same sise
They do get along very well. Sometimes it depends on their personalities. When you are gone, They have someone to play with.
Two Guinea pigs is 'deux cochons d'Inde' in French.
It's best to keep them in the same cage for about a week. And you have to put them in the same cage together for about and hour each day after that for a while. I have 3 male guinea pigs at home and usually the guinea pig who came into the family or home first will try to show the other guinea pigs who is in charge (Or dominant). It usually takes about a week to two weeks for the guinea pigs to work it out and become great buddies.
Yes , all guinea pigs are different. They vary in personality , looks and in intelligence. No two guinea pigs are the same.
Gerbils and guinea pigs have different social behaviors and communication methods, which can make it challenging for them to get along. Gerbils are more active and territorial, while guinea pigs are social and laid-back. It is not recommended to house them together as they might not understand each other's behaviors, leading to stress and potential conflict. It's best to provide separate living spaces for gerbils and guinea pigs.
