You don't. A blender is made of metal and or plastic pieces, it would taste terrible if you tried to use this as the only ingredient for butter.

You cannot whip 1/2 and 1/2 - you need the butterfat in heavy (or whipping) cream for it to come together.

Make sure your bowl is totally dry. Pour in the whipping cream, and whatever flavoring your recipe may call for. Use beaters or an electric mixer. Insert them into the cream, and turn on at a low speed. Increase your speed, and beat the cream. It will thicken as you go. Once the cream is good and thick, refrigerate it for a few minutes, or until you are ready to use it.

Yes. Either whip it in a mixer or use a wire whip. Using an electric mixer is the easiest way to do it. But be careful not to overwhip or you will end up with butter and whey.

By whipping it. I highly recommend an electric mixer, preferably a stand mixer.

Using pasteurized non homogenized milk, skim the heavy cream off the top (about 1/2 inch above the separation line). Whip the cream cold in a well chilled bowl, then set for 30 minutes in the refrigerator, covered. Drain any excess liquid milk after it's set, then what is left is heavy whipping cream.

What kind of milk do you use to make whip cream?

Whipped cream is not made directly from milk, and it is not possible to make whipped cream with homogenized milk purchased at supermarkets. Milk will froth and foam, but it does not have enough fat to form whipped cream. One needs heavy cream to make whipped cream. Heavy cream is separated from non-homogenized milk. When fresh milk is left to stand, the cream will rise to the top, where it can be skimmed off. This cream is further concentrated into the "heavy cream" or "whipping cream" that can then be whipped into whipped cream.

Is whipping cream the same thing as cool whip?

No; heavy cream has a higher fat content. Granted, it is a pretty subtle difference (at least 36 percent fat in heavy cream and at least 30 percent in whipping cream), but it's important if you're making something that's going to keep its shape—the higher fat content in heavy cream makes it more suitable for those jobs. That extra fat also makes it more resistant to curdling in sauces. And if you're wondering where heavy whipping cream fits into all this, don't worry, it's just the same as heavy cream.

What is the difference between heavy whipping cream and regular whipping cream?

How do you turn heavy cream into whipped cream?

Unfortunately there is no recipe for heavy whipping cream...... unless you are working on a dairy farm. Heavy cream is the cream or "fat" from the milk when it is first gathered, mixed with milk. You can purchase this cream in different percentages of cream vs.milk........ Hope this helps!
