The male yabby deposits a sperm packet under the base of the females tail. The female then lays around 100-600 eggs, each of which she passes through the sperm packet to try and fertilize it, then attaches in underneath her tail. The eggs are carried around under her tail for around four weeks, during which, the female is known as being "in berry" as the eggs clustered together resemble berries. When the fertilized eggs hatch, the tiny baby yabbies continue to cling to her tail for around another two weeks, before they slowly release themselves to walk around on their own.
You put the yabbies in a tank of warm water (22-28 degrees Celsius) for a few days. When your lady yabby has little green balls all over her tail, move her to new tank until they hatch. Then take her out.
No. Yabbies have an exoskeleton.
No.
First you need a male and female yabby. You can tell the difference between yabbies as the female has little bubble on the third back legs. they need to be about 10cm to breed. to breed them they need warm water (not to hot) about 22-28 degrees celcius and long daylight. In a few of days if you do this right your female should have eggs. When yabbies breed, the male yabby releases some sperm onto the female near were she will have her eggs. after this happens the female yabby releases her eggs and they become fertilised. when she has eggs you should remove the male from the tank and leave the female. the female should be in a large tank big enough for atleast 200 baby yabbies. When they hatch and leave there mother you should remove the female as she will eat the babies. If you dont have enough room for the babies they will eat each other but if they have plenty of places to hide, not as many will die
Yes but make sure the room/ area is moist.
They can come out on land only when breeding. My two yabbies did
err not a good idear yabbies will eat a goldfish
Crayfish are known as both crayfish and yabbies in Australia. "Yabbies" are freshwater crayfish, often found in rivers, creeks and dams in rural areas.

You can but it's not smart to do so. The Yabbies will rip bits off the fish.
yabbies were first found in edenatorejupiter or guytiporfjubintequa (aqua-poo-poo-flute-free-liteny)
