Just write down your feelings, but try writing it down on a "dreamier" way. But sometimes you need to be inspired by something/someone if you want to write a poem, because otherwise it doesn't always "sound" that great. It's hard to explain actually ;P but if you miss someone for example you write the first thing that comes in your mind down, like: I used to look into your eyes or something like that XD
