I am not sure, I have v4.5, and how you do it in 4.5 is you change the date. I am not sure if you can change the date in v5. Hope this helps! :D

You have to age it. Make it sleep more. If your tama sleeps at 9, then change the clock to 9, Make sure that you let out your tama for a few minutes to grow, and then put it to sleep again. This makes your tama older and grow faster but it is a wast of batteries. You shopuld let it grow on it's own.

What I usually do is leave the tamagotchi on at night (set it to a morning time for instance 8:00 a.m) and then go ot bed in the morning, clean up it's droppings and make sure it's not sick...in a little bit it should be an adult!
