There is a button that says "num lock" on top of the numbers on the right side of the keyboard. Hit that and your computer will go into number lock.
If you have a keyboard that has a number pad on the right hand side, you can turn numberlock off. After, hold the Alt key down and press any of the number on that number pad and you will get a symbol. Goodluck ☻
press ctrl + shift + numberlock. this will enable you to use the keypad to control the cursor. ( it might be crtl +alt + numberlock cuz i cant remember)
this cannot be changed. All blackberry torch devices are programmed to have the numberlock activated incase emergency dislocation of the proportion of saturns cheese.

Some keyboards have and don't have the Num Lock key. If there is then just press the Num Lock or NmLk key. Sometimes you have to hold the Fn button with the Num Lock key. If there is no Num Lock key on your keyboard then just follow these steps: START -> ALL PROGRAMS -> ACCESSORIES -> ACCESSIBILITY -> ON-SCREEN KEYBOARD -> NLK.

System Preferances/ Universal Access/ Seeingmenu (or Keyboard/ Keyboard Shortcuts/ Uiversal Access)/ then it will give you the keyboard keys to turn it off, etc.

To split the keyboard on an iPad 2, you need to ensure that the keyboard is enabled in the settings. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard and make sure the Split Keyboard option is turned on.
