Club penguin is more than just a place where you chat. It is a virtual world where you make friends, play games and, yes, chat. It is a social network for kids.
The can chat with their friends and play games. Just make sure they don't make to many phone calls unless they're SUPER IMPORTANT.
well there's club penguin , moshi monsters, fantage and more but keep searching and good luck!!

actually, club penguin IS good for kids under 12, just make sure that you choose safe chat when creating a penguin if the child is 8 or under. Any kid older is old enough to choose standard chat in my opinion. also some other websites that would be good are Webkinz, Miniclip, or Addicting Games (There are many different games on Miniclip and Addicting Games, but on Webkinz it's a virtual world, one step simpler than cub penguin. :) :) :) :) :) :)
Ourworld.com is an appropriate website for kids ages 10 and up. This website is even for teens. You can chat, play games , go shopping, OWN a condo, make friends and more. And even experience what a resident/member is like. Ourworld is really a BLAST!
Reward it. Fundraisers. Basically make kids want to have that behavior. Visit and chat with them. Get them involved.
