How do you make your own units on Warcraft 3?

This is a very broad question, much like saying "what is a human".

Depending on the map, who created it and what it was intended for, there can be infinite answers to this, but looking at it as a strategy game (Warcraft 3 Default Maps and Units), you may train units at the various buildings in Warcraft 3.

1. In the World Editor, select Object Editor (the helmet icon on the toolbar).
2. Select the Units tab if it's not already selected.
3. Right-click a unit you want to base your custom unit from, and select Create New Custom Unit.
4. Type a name for your custom unit.
5. It will be created. You can then modify its properties. You should definitely change the tooltip if you gave it a different name.
6. You should create a means for your custom unit to be used, either by adding it to a building's 'Techtree - Units Trained/Sold' list, or by placing it on the map, or by using it in a trigger.

depends what class you are if your a hunter only once you get a new pet, if your a warlock you have t pay 50gold to get a pet with a different name but you do not get to choose the name for that one either, if your a frost mage then you cant at all....at least i dont think you can change the name of the water elemental.

use a dreadlord or go to world editor and pick a map and use one of ur races and remove something it can build and switch it with a demon gate or add the unit to one of the buildings of the race u r going to use
