Hi, I'm Maeve (WikiAnswers screen name Maevemoo). I have a small dog, and his name is Hepper. I didn't beg or anything- I waited. First of all I really like dogs. So what I did to find Hepper was I looked on the computer so many times searching for puppies that were being sold. I would suggest watching tutorial movies and reading books about training dogs, types of dogs, and and pretty much anything to learn about dogs. So, you want a small one? Figure out some trustable, small, and easy-to-train dogs. Once you and your parents know how to train a dog, types of dogs you might get, and all about dogs, search on your computer for puppies for sale. What I did was I showed my parents some dogs and about them, and finally, one day, I found cute little puppies on Kijiji all by myself. We wanted a male puppy, and there were 2. My mom looked at them and thought they would be good pets, so we called the owner, left a message, and a few minutes later she called back. You want to make sure their less than $600 first. That's how I got to bring Hepper home with me!
u can tell ur parents the advanteges of a small dog and the disadvanteges of a bigger dog
You can't really MAKE your parents give you a dog, but you may be able to persuade them to do so. Ask them what they would want you to do, in order to be rewarded with a dog. You may be able to make a deal.
start out asking for a small animal
ye i would have thought so but make sure your parents want you to have a dog
Teach him tricks i.e get a hula hoop hold it a bit of the ground and see if he jumps it
it is slim and small.
Any kind of chocolate even a small bit would make your dog sick.
They don't really, but they make "small dog treats" smaller so the dog can easily eat it.
Crawfish can make a dog sick - the crawfish can carry E. coli, Salmonella and several parasites that can infect or infest your dog. I have heard of one dog that had a very difficult to treat intestinal worm problem, but the parents couldn't figure out where the dog got the worms from. The parents eventually figured out that their two boys were having crawfish races in the back yard and were feeding the losers of each race to the dog.
mom a little dog is cuter than a big dog
Typicaly, there is no relationship of this kind. The size of the animal at birth, and as it grows to an adult usually relies on the genes, or, hereditary traits given from the parents. For example: a small dog is bred to a large dog, generally the pup will be born about the size of a small dog pup, then may grow to the size of the large dog later on, however, the pup may grow to be a medium dog, or even a small dog, depending on which parents traits are stronger. There is however, another theory scientists are testing which is, no matter what the genes, the pups will always be born small enough so that the mother can birth them more easily. But then can grow quite a lot afterwards. Hope this information helps.
No, a dog can only have the type of dog it is. Unless it mated with another type of dog then they could produce mutts, but would have both of their parents features. Im pretty sure that it will not physically work for a big dog such as a labrador to mate with a small dog like yours.
