The factory sunroof does not have a manual close devise.
There is most likely a yellow switch in the trunck on the left side (drivers side) to switch from auto to manual
Try a DAF dealership... PACCAR, Inc. shut down the Foden marque, effectively phasing them out in favor of DAF... this effectively made DAF the 'successor' to Foden, including for service needs.
Most sunroofs will move manually. you need to remove a cover to get to where the motor is and usually there is a hole to put a screwdriver or Allen key into to turn the motor manually. If not just remove the motor and push the glass shut but doing this will mean you need to reset the motor before refitting it. I worked in a sunroof factory for 10 years !!
Look for dirt in the track and/or motor. It may close if you assist the motor by pushing on the sunroof at the same time.
no
If a sunroof gets stuck open, getting it closed can be hard. It can be pulled shut if a person can get a grip on the sunroof. Fixing the wiring or fuse problem would help remedy the problem,
I plan to caulk mine shut. THe repair estimate was $9k.
Need to know the make/model/year. Some have a way to disconnect the motor and manually close, while some(BMWs) have to be cranked shut with tools like an allen key.
when it's red, that means the sunroof stays in position when turn off the car. push it in to turn it green. when green, it closes automatically when you shut off the car.
ok you going to have to take down the overhead liner about half way to get easy access to it but you may be able to do it and get to the motor if you take of the lights and sunroof switch cover above this way will take more patience but is better if you take the liner down, than you will see Allen insertion for an Allen key, set it in and turn to the right over and over again until close, aight man peace
pull the fuse
