How do you max out Pokémon's stats?

Maxing out stats is done through a process called EV training which stands for Effort Value. Effort Values are given to your pokemon each time it defeats an opponent pokemon and each opponent gives specific effort values such as Gastly giving 1 point of Special Attack effort values what you have to do is gain as much points as possible while your pokemon is still in the beginning training stages as in level 20's and below or so. At first there will be no noticeable difference of how each stat's growth is affected until you begin reaching the middle stage of training and beyond where your Special Attack in this instance will jump from 2 points to even 15 points depending on the pokemon's perferred stat point like Slaking is a Attack Stat pokemon vs a Mewtwo for Special Attack. Do not attempt to EV a stat that is extremely low for a pokemon you will not get significant gains by doing so an example is EV training Attack Stat to a Jynx which has significantly low Attack Stat so do not do this. Have the pokemon your training hold Macho Brace while your EV training to enhance the points you receive each time the pokemon levels up also use the stat enhancing items such as Protein to enchance the proceedings even further.
