There are many websites that allow you to analyze the loading time of a webpage. Check the Related Links section underneath for a few websites that offer this service for free.
Page Load Error or Unable to Load Page
1.5 mbps stands for 1.5 mega bits per second, which is a speed. Therefore the time it takes a page to load depends on the size of the page. This page was 12.44 kB (12,736 bytes) when I loaded it. There are 8 bits in a byte so this page is 12.44k X 8 = 99.52kilo-bits The speed it takes a page to load is speed divided by size, so it's 99.52k divied by 1.5M = 9950 divided by 1,500,000 which all eqauls 0.0066 seconds, in theory, but time is also taken for many other things (e.g. server response time and browser load time). A small page like this or google would take no more that 1 or 2 seconds.
If you load a website, and just sit there looking at it, the only bandwidth you spent was to load the page. No additional bandwidth is spent to view the page for any length of time.
To reduce the page load time of your website, you can optimize images, minify CSS and JavaScript files, enable browser caching, use a content delivery network (CDN), and consider upgrading your hosting plan to a faster server.
In distributed scheduling, load is related to the task size. Here, task can simply be a request for web page. tasks are in time units i.e. their size is based on how much time they need to get process. so the load can be stated as the number of time units are there at a moment in the queue of dispatcher.
The time a web page takes to load depends on the content of the web page. If there is a lot of videos, flash and images it takes longer.
