∙ 15y agoThe broken bone is put into its correct alignment and held there, usually with a plaster cast. Then all you have to do is leave it in peace and the bone will grow back together pretty much the same way a cut will heal. If it's a bad break it might need an operation to insert pins and plates to keep the pieces in place.

Then they'd splint it, leave it be and hope it'd heal right.
