How do you migrate on Pokemon Platinum?

So to migrate Pokemon on platinum you need a DS because you can't do it with a DSi. You put both games(ex/ platinum ds game and firered gba game) inside their game slots, then you go to the main menu of the platinum menu and there should be an option that says "migrate Pokemon from firered" click that botton. chose your six Pokemon you want to migrate and then play the platinum game.

To get the firered Pokemon into your PC you have to go to the PalPark and enter the contest.After you catch the six Pokemon you will get asked if you want to put the Pokemon you've caught in your PC say yes and there you go.
