First you install the game, you're going to need a serial number for installation. Then you go to my computer, and go to your (C:) drive and click on program files. Then you click on the EA Games folder. Once in the EA Games folder you click on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 (folder). Once there you click on the cars folder. Once inside the cars folder you can pick which ever car file you'd like and enter into it. for instance if you pick the vanquish then you go to the car file with the gear in the icon, and change the mass to 1000.0. this will give you the ability to get away from the cops easier due to the fact that your car weighs less than the cop car. when you go to exit out of the document, it will ask you to save the file and to overwrite it. answer yes to both of these questions. believe me you'll love the effects of this code modification........
Good Luck with your game. :)

Umm... Did you mean "Can you do the same thing in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit than you can in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Limited Edition?" Well, the answer is yes. The only difference is when you start with the Limited Edition, you get cars you would have to get bounty to earn the cars in the regular game. For example, The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizone and Alfa Romeo 8C Spider.
you can't as far as i'm aware.
