If your using Vizzed RGR you have to go to the menu and convert it.
If your using a 1964, 1964js, Daedalus, Mupen64Plus, Mupen64 Android Edition, N64js, Project64, or Sixtyforce, try going to Tools, Menu, etc. and try going to Configure Controls or something like that and change it to something your familiar with (Arrow Keys, WASD, IJKL, etc.)
