go to the parts store tell them you need an engine tilter. what you do is remove both motor mounts that attach to core support and to the engine . put car in neutral this is so you don,t damage the park pin or break it. hook the tilter up in place of the front motor mount . get the proper socket and ratchet tighten down you will see the engine move forward. these motor mounts are genarly know as dog bones cause they look like one .i hope this helps you out , the package should have diretions on it to help you. don,t forget to set the parking brake if the car is on a grade or have someone put the car in park after you tilt the engine
Transmission no good need to be replaces.
Trany shot replace
I would check the transmission fluid level.
replace the elec. motors on the seat
The inability of a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina seat to move forward or backward can be due to several reasons. Common issues include a malfunctioning seat track or motor, a blown fuse, or a jammed mechanism caused by debris. Additionally, the wiring or electrical connections could be damaged. Inspecting these components can help identify and resolve the problem.
At the back of the seat, move the seat all the way forward to access them...
you just hold the hour button for a few seconds, same as the minute button. for a few seconds.should move. when it moves,go to the right number on your clock :)
Have them repaired or replaced ASAP. If you had to make an evasive move you could lose control of the vehicle.
A bookperson. Time doesn't move forward. Time is. People move forward or regress. Bookpeople learn, grow and always move forward.
There are four bolts that hold the seat to the frame of the car. Put seat all the way forward and take out the 2 back bolts - then move seat back to take out the front bolts and the seat should come right out. If it is a power seat you have to disconnect the electrical wires first - obviously. Had to do this not long ago....good luck!
Figured it out on the second try. After unscrewing the window washer "tank", pull the tank forward and up and the fuse box that appears to be in the way "gives" enough for the tank to come up and out. I way a little to gentle the first time, thinkng the fuse box does not move, but it will, perhaps by design. Now you can get to the battery and unscrew the bolts holding in the battery.
It is not required to support the motor when you remove the upper front mounts. The engine will rock a bit but it will not move substantially. Just remember to reattach the mounts when finished.
