You need to change the Animation scheme in Titles and Credits. However, if you are looking to 'Set' the title stationary on the left side of a clip (without animation of any type), it can't be done in Windows Movie Maker.
My suggestion is to create a title page/clip (with the title placed as desired) in a graphics application. Then import it into Windows Movie Maker.
If you previously tried to download Windows Movie Maker for Windows 8, but it said that both the movie and photo programs were installed then you will not have to re-install. The easiest way to find it on your computer is to select the Windows logo on the left and type "Windows Movie Maker" (without quotes) into the search bar.
Go to the start button on the bottom left, go to all programs and then click on the words "Windows Movie Maker." If this does not work, you can always use the search or find program on your computer.
In Windows Movie Maker 2.1, in the left side pane click "Import Pictures" in the Category "Capture Video" in Movie Tasks. (Movie Maker 2.1 is in Windows XP & Vista) In Windows Live Movie Maker, Import Files is located on the Home tab. Click it and select the files.
You can get Windows Movie Maker v2.1 (for XP) from the URL posted below:http://www.nomboo.co.cc/2009/10/movie-maker-create-edit-and-share-your.htmlScroll down to the bottom of the page and on the bottom left you will find the download link in red font.
On the top of the program window. It can also be accessed from the left side as well.
when you've finished your movie click on the last scene and on the left hand column under "edit movie" there should be a link that says make titles or credits After you've clicked on that, click on the link at the bottom that says "add credits at the end of movie" Then put your credits in! :]
The DVD option is under Save Movie in Windows Live Movie Maker. Click on the down arrow (beside the Home button) in the top left corner of the menu ribbon. Cursor down to Save Movie and click on it. You will see Burn a DVD option in there.
First, import your pictures into Windows Movie Maker. Add them to the Time-line or Storyboard. Then click View, Tasks to enable the Task pane. Choose DVD from the left-side menu. A window will appear telling you Windows Movie Maker will close and open DVD Maker. Follow instructions on naming and saving, then click Ok. DVD Maker will now open with the movie (you just created) visible in the viewing pane. Make sure there is a DVD in the drive and click Burn.
If you are using Windows, I suggest that you use Windows Movie Maker. It comes installed with your system and is quick and easy to use. Once in windows movie maker, on the left should be 'import audio or music', click on that and then find the file you are looking for. For a mac, Quicktime is worth looking at. It's free too.
On the top left menu ribbon to the right of the Home button in Windows Live Movie Maker for Windows 7, there is a icon with a list and arrow beside it. Click on the down arrow, which brings up options for publishing, saving, new projects, etc. From the drop-down menu, you can either choose Publish (for YouTube) or Save Movie, to publish to your computer.
The contents pane is the section between the Menu options on the left and the Preview pane on the right side.
