There are a few methods to move fast in Counter Strike. Make sure you are not wielding a rifle or a machine gun (since these weapons give you speed reduction) and hold a handgun or knife instead. In the earlier CS games, the Schmidt Scout provided a slight boost in speed (the normal default movement speed for players is 250 units per second and if the Scout is wielded, the players moves at 260). This is only possible if you are not zoomed in (then the player moves at only 220). Since the Schmidt Scout will not reappear in Counter Strike Global Offensive, it is uncertain if any of the new weapons will provide a speed boost.
